Programme Notes

Mozart’s K 581 is a showpiece inspired by the artistry of his friend.  The buoyant theme and nimble variations that open this concert were traditionally thought to be one of Weber’s similarly inspired works, but are now attributed to Küffner as Op.32.  Schubert’s beloved Trout bubbles with joy.  The musicianship of top-class performers combined with the rapport of good friends will provide an exceptional experience.
