Sydney Mozart Society | 2024 Season

The Society is delighted to announce that the Goldner String Quartet opens the 2024 Season; although sadly this is the end of a 30 year-long collaboration that the Society will sorely miss.  This renowned quartet kicks off a season featuring some of Australia’s best chamber musicians and ensembles.

Wednesday 27 March 2024 – Goldner String Quartet perform some of our favourite masterpieces for string quartet by Mozart, Beethoven and Schumann.

Tuesday 16 April 2024 – Timo-Veikko Valve and Aura Go perform exquisite pieces for piano and cello by Mozart and Beethoven.

Wednesday 29 May 2024 – Southern Cross Soloists performing as a wind and strings ensemble with pianist Konstantin Shamray give a taste of Mozart’s mastery. Tickets here.

Wednesday 28 August 2024 – Streeton Trio perform piano trios by Mozart, Brahms and Ravel. Tickets here.

Wednesday 18 September 2024 – Daniel Herscovitch and Clemens Leske return with a varied concert that includes familiar works arranged for two pianos. Tickets here.

Wednesday 23 October 2024 – Flinders Quartet close the season with the dramatic flair of Beethoven and Mendelssohn. Tickets here.

Join and Save: Membership for 2024 includes tickets for all remaining concerts and is great value.  The full cost ($264 for adults and $102 for full-time students) is reduced pro-rata.  Children under 13 are admitted free when accompanied by an adult member.

To illustrate the value:  Membership is $44 per adult per concert, which compares to $61 for an adult ticket to a single concert.
