Daniel prepared the menu for the feast of music for two pianos that is the Society's second concert this year. It's a programme centred around Chopin in that Mozart (with Bach) was his favourite composer and the three other composers featured were all influenced by Chopin.

Daniel studied with Alexander Sverjensky at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and Rosl Schmid in Munich.  While based in Germany he performed extensively on the continent and in England and toured Australia three times.  Since returning to Australia, he has been active in solo and chamber music and he has toured overseas.  His solo repertoire ranges from Purcell to Carter and beyond and includes contemporary works, several of which he commissioned and premiered.  He is currently Associate Professor of Piano at The University of Sydney Conservatorium of Music.  Read more about Daniel here.

Ten years ago, he formed a piano duo with Clemens Leske. Together they will treat us to a feast of the greatest music for two pianos. For the programme and other details click here.
